If I am honest with myself today…

I want influence—but God wants to influence me.

I want followers—but God wants me to follow Jesus.

I want power—but God wants to use my weaknesses to reveal His strength.

I want to build and control my own kingdom, —but God wants me to humbly serve in His.

Growth is possible through Christ. Maturity is measured by faithfulness, love, humility, and endurance.

Jesus—help me see Your face, revealed in the Word and world each day. I want to really know you deeply and intimately. Illuminate any darkness so that I can clearly see your glory. The more I see your face, the more I know you, and the more I can reflect you to those around me.

2 Corinthians 4:6
